Biography
Mina is an Iranian visual artist based in Tehran, born and raised in a deeply artistic family. Her earliest mentor was her grandfather, a master painter and calligrapher, whose studio became her first gateway into the world of art. She began painting at the age of five, immersed in an environment where imagination, culture, and visual expression merged seamlessly.
She graduated from the High School of Fine Arts and later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a Master’s degree in P. M. Throughout her academic and professional journey, she remained devoted to painting, constantly merging technical knowledge with emotional expression.
Mina’s work is rooted in her personal and cultural identity. Through painting, she explores themes such as feminine identity, inner conflict, freedom, and cultural heritage. Drawing from family legacy and her own lived experiences, she seeks to create a space where reality and imagination dissolve—where emotion speaks through color and form.
Her paintings aim to break boundaries between the inner and outer self, truth and illusion, the personal and the collective. She places strong emphasis on connecting with cultural memory, while persistently seeking artistic freedom and authenticity in her expression.
Mina has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Iran and abroad. Her practice is a continuous exploration—a space to reflect, to question, and to reimagine.
